Meet Andrea

What attracted you to purchase at Olio Officer?

The rental I was in was up for sale so I'd been on the hunt for my own place since July 2022. I went to inspections every weekend searching for an established home, only to realise that I could not afford a house that had everything I wanted. That's when I came across an ad on Facebook for townhouses on sale at Olio Officer. I was able to learn more about the floorplans and standard inclusions from Vladimir, and realised that it had everything I wanted - right down to the floorboards as standard! I was also eligible for Development Victoria's Priority Access initiative, which was another sign this was meant for me. It was a no brainer, it was everything I wanted and within my budget!

Which home design did you purchase and why?

I purchased the Arris Two home design, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a study downstairs, and a backyard. I didn't want anything large, it's just me, my son, and our pomeranian x shihtzu. Having a bathroom each is perfect for us, and my son is stoked to have is own ensuite. The study downstairs is great for me to use an art studio and when I work from home. It also means I can create art over floorboards instead of using a carpeted bedroom. We purchased the Parkside Three home design. We choose the Parkside Three because we have grandchildren and the 3 large bedrooms are convenient, we also like the first-floor study nook that will offer views across Olio Park and the quality of the fittings, especially the kitchens and bathrooms.

What are you most looking forward to when you move to Olio?

To have my own stable roof over my head. No more landlords, property inspections, or being told to vacate. I can't wait to turn the key for the first time and walk into a home I can call 'mine' knowing I did this myself. I think I will stand in the living room and cry with joy.
